About 129 Squadron

The Aims of the Air Cadet Organization are:

To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.

To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.

To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

129 Squadron is situated at the Territorial Army base on St. Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells. As a Squadron we have about 45 Cadets who regularly attend the squadron and 7 members of staff (2 Uniformed RAFVRT Officers, 1 Warrant Officer, and 8 Civilian Iinstructors).

129 Squadron parades every Tuesday and Thursday (7:00 untill 9:30) and we also do numerous weekend activities such as Navigation days, Shooting, Flying, Gliding, Rock Climbing and lots more.
